Description

This publication, published in Spanish and English, contains monthly and annual time series of the main Chilean economic indicators since 1960. From its content, it is worth highlighting information on national accounts, public finances, production sectors, prices, labor statistics, monetary and financial indicators, external debt, balance of payments and international reserves, foreign trade, population and housing. Of special interest are the chapters dedicated to education, health, welfare and other social indicators, which provide some important background on these matters. Both the Spanish version and the English version also contain a compact disc (CD) that includes and extends the content of the book, deepening some topics by presenting the figures with a higher frequency and incorporating new variables.
