The following indicators are part of the Central Bank of Chile’s “Experimental Statistics” project, which compiles and publishes statistics that are still under development or refinement. As a result, the published series may be subject to significant revisions. These statistics are innovative in terms of their data sources, statistical methods and/or fields of study. Experimental Statistics also aim to shorten the statistical production cycle and gather user feedback at an early stage of development.

Regional Sales and Purchases Indicators (ICVR)

The Regional Sales and Purchases Indicators are based on information from electronic invoices and show transactions of goods and services between firms, in nominal terms, with relevant breakdowns such as region of sale (issuer), region of purchase (recipient), economic activity and firm size.

The information is updated monthly, with a 23-day lag compared to the reference period.
