Indicadores de Crédito Comercial entre Empresas (ICCE)
Experimental Statistics
The following indicators are part of the Central Bank of Chile’s “Experimental Statistics” project, which compiles and publishes statistics that are still under development or refinement. As a result, the published series may be subject to significant revisions. These statistics are innovative in terms of their data sources, statistical methods and/or fields of study. Experimental Statistics also aim to shorten the statistical production cycle and gather user feedback at an early stage of development.
Business-to-Business Credit Indicators (ICCE)
The Business-to-Business Trade Credit Indicators (ICCE) show the distribution of sales recorded through electronic invoices by credit term across five categories: current, 30 days, 31 to 60 days, 61 to 90 days, and more than 90 days. They also provide information on the number of sellers and buyers, the number of invoices issued, and the average payment term within each category. The ICCE characterizes trade credit according to the payment terms granted or received, but does not indicate whether payment was made by the due date reported on the invoice.
The ICCE is updated once a month, on the 23rd (or the next business day), with data for the previous month.
