Biography

SILVANA CELEDÓN PORZIO is the Communications Manager of the Central Bank since August 2023.

She is a Journalist from Universidad Diego Portales and holds a Diploma in Management and Public Finance from Universidad de Chile.

Before joining the Bank, she worked as Director of Strategic Communications of the Chilean Salmon Council.  Previously, she was the Press Chief at the Ministry of Finance (2018 - 2019) and worked at the Undersecretariat of Social Evaluation—a branch of the Ministry of Social Development and Family (2019- 2020).

Ms. Celedón contributed for more than 10 years to the economic media as an economic journalist, including notably her time with the Economy & Business section of the daily newspapers El Mercurio and Diario Financiero.
