Communications Policy at the Central Bank of Chile

The Central Bank of Chile, being an autonomous organization, must give an account to society of the mandates it has received and which are set forth in its Constitutional Organic Law.

One way of doing so is to carry out its work transparently. Hence the importance that is given to the Bank’s communications policy, which has as its main characteristics equitable and timely access to information.

Meetings with Market Stakeholder(s)

Considering the objectives of ensuring simultaneous, equitable and equal access to information, those meetings requested to the members of the Board by individuals or legal entities, to be attended by investors, investment managers and/or analysts, whether national or foreign, in order to discuss issues related to monetary policy and/or the economy, hereinafter “meetings with market stakeholders,” shall comply with the guidelines contained in point 5 of the Communications Policy.

 

 

Important:

 

  • The meeting request must be submitted via form at least 45 days in advance.
  • Confirmation will be sent 30 days before the scheduled date.
  • Requests will be processed on a first‑come, first‑served basis, in accordance with Section 5, letter e, of the Communications Policy.
  • Maximum of 5 guests (individual persons) per requesting institution, with a maximum capacity of 20 participants.
  • Duration: 1 hour.
