Biography

RICARDO CONSIGLIO has been the Manager of the Central Bank's Financial Markets Division since July 2023.

He is an economist from the University of Chile with a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick, U.K.

Previous work includes more than 20 years of experience in different positions in the Chilean financial sector. Before coming to the Bank, he was Chief Economist and Head of Market Strategy for Latin America at Zurich Asset Management Chile, a position he took up in November 2019.

Between 2017 and 2019 he worked as Research Manager at LarrainVial, a leading brokerage house. Between 2013 and 2017 he was Manager of International Markets at the Central Bank of Chile. Formerly, he served as Economic Research and Fixed Income Manager at LarrainVial and as Deputy Manager of Fixed Income at pension fund AFP Capital.

Between 2000 and 2011 he held various positions at the Central Bank, including Head of the International Desk.
