Biography

RAIMUNDO GARCÍA VERGARA has served as Director of the Operations Division of the Central Bank of Chile since April 2019. 

He is a Commercial Engineer from the Diego Portales University, and has a vast experience in the logistics and operations fields.

From 2013 until he undertook his current office, he served as Logistic Services Manager at Empresas SB. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as Corporate Procurement Manager at Danone and, from 2006 to 2011, as South American Operations Manager at Lan Cargo. 

Previously, from 1995 to 2006, he held various positions at Lan Airlines: Head of Domestic and International Airports; Assistant Manager of Passenger Service (Santiago Airport); Manager of Catering and Procurement.
