The Economic Research Department is pleased to invite you to the online workshop “Uso de Modelos Macroeconómicos en el Banco Central de Chile “ on the occasion of the launch of the book as so titled.

The event, which will take place on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:35 p.m., will feature the participation of guests such as Klaus Schmidt-Hebbel (Universidad del Desarrollo), Sergio Lehmann (BCI), Claudio Soto (Banco Santander) and Pablo Guerrón-Quintana (Boston College).

During the event, we will discuss the macroeconomic models used by the Bank in its analysis and projections. We will also look at the role of these models in the monetary policy decision-making process.

The publication of this book is part of the continual process of working towards greater transparency in which the Central Bank is engaged.
