Webex Events

The Economic Research Department is pleased to invite you to an online workshop on the occasion of the launch of the document “Inflation Dynamics and Determinants in Chile”.

The event, which will take place on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m., will feature the participation of guests such as Juan Pablo Nicolini (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis), Victoria Nuguer (IDB), and Luis Felipe Céspedes (Universidad de Chile).

During the event, we will discuss the report’s contents, which summarize research generated both within and outside the Bank on the historic behavior of inflation in Chile, its short term and medium term dynamics, and the role played by monetary policy in the determination of inflation expectations.

The publication of this document, which is part of the Bank’s permanent research agenda, aims to provide to the general public stylized facts and analysis that are relevant both for a better understanding of the behavior of the economy and the conduct of monetary policy.
