Online Retail Sales Index (IVOCM)
The Online Retail Sales Index (IVOCM) is a nominal sales indicator based on anonymous sales records from Form F29, provided by the Internal Revenue Service (SII); the Retail Trade Activity and Inventory Index Survey conducted by the National Statistics Institute (INE); and payment information from credit and debit cards, supplied by private institutions. This indicator quantifies the share of e-commerce within the total sales of the formal retail sector. It is updated on the 5th of each month (or the next business day) with a 35-day lag.
