Strategic planning

The goal of strategic planning is to implement the Central Bank’s vision and mission in changing environments. It’s an important management tool that enables us to focus our efforts and resources on areas aligned with our institutional goals.

The medium-term strategic plan for the 2018–2022 period emerged through a consultative, participatory, and inclusive process. This reflects the fact that the Bank, as a public entity, works for the country as a whole and depends on a cohesive team of people who make up the organization.

This plan, which was built on the Bank’s strengths, recognizes the potential risks and opportunities that could arise in the future and identifies a set of strategic initiatives for achieving the Bank’s vision as a trustworthy technical institution that operates with excellence to accomplish the objectives entrusted to it by law.
