Public Consultations of Regulations
Public Consultation on Regulations
The Central Bank of Chile, in the exercise of its normative powers regarding various specific regulatory projects, has used the public consultation tool to receive comments and suggestions from citizens, market agents, academics, experts and others interested in the respective regulations. This has made it possible to strengthen and improve the analysis and design stage prior to the adoption of regulations, as well as to disseminate their content and increase transparency and participation levels.
The public consultation has a procedure established in the Introduction to the Compendium of Financial Regulations, the sphere in which these processes may be used more often, notwithstanding that they may also be used in other spheres, when the Board so determines and under terms to be established.
Accordingly, this section includes documentation concerning processes of public consultation on regulations that have already concluded, recently, or that are in progress.
Public consultation proposed regulations on new Chapter III.D.3 of the Compendium of Financial Standards referred to the “Integrated Information System on Derivative Transactions (SIID)” (Until 12/28/2018)
