La portada se compone del logo institucional y de los vínculos de acceso a ésta, al formulario de contacto, al mapa del sitio, al buscador, y a los contenidos en idioma inglés. La barra de navegación lateral, permanente en todo el sitio, permite desplazarse por todas las secciones. Al centro, se encuentra la sección institucional con fotografías del banco, textos alusivos a sus funciones y vínculos a fuentes de información respecto de su política monetaria. A la izquierda, se encuentra la barra de navegación con acceso a las portadillas de secciones y el resto del contenido del sitio. A la derecha, se encuentra la sección de vínculos directos a fuentes de información de estadísticas económicas y a información relevante a los medios de prensa. En el centro, se encuentra la sección de lo nuevo publicado en el sitio; luego, la sección de destacados con información relevante que permanece por un tiempo en la portada. Los indicadores, al ser presentados en un esquema de lengüetas facilitan su acceso. Se incluye una sección de publicaciones recientes, oportunidades de trabajo y vínculos al Concurso Economía + cerca, del Programa Economía para la Mayoría. Por último, al pie de página, se encuentra la información complementaria: acerca del sitio, información de contacto, y condiciones de uso de la página. 

The website is organized by main subject areas, including a permanent navigation bar at the left side of the screen, to navigate and get access in all directions and to all subsections. The first level selection permits access to the title and subtitle sections, comprising all relevant information of the section.

In the upper part of each page there is a track system to facilitate movements within the site, since it shows the route to the place where you are, and allows to orderly retreat to any previous level.

This section shows a diagram of all contents of this website, structured by subject, in similar way as the navigation bar. It offers a complete view of the its contents and organization.

The web site is designed to be seen in Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher with an 11024x768 pixel resolution

Daily data updating

It is convenient to reload pages in your navigator program, doing a click in “reload” or F5. It is also advisable to frequently eliminate the temporary files stored in the hard disc of your PC.

To easily employ numeric data the website offers tables in a calculation spreadsheet format, Microsoft Excel. In case it is not available, you can freely get the Excel Viewer 2003, from the Microsoft website, at the following site:
