· 3/ Incomes obtained from the state copper company (CODELCO) is not included

· 5/ Monthly data exclude some extra-budgetary components which are included in quarterly data.

· 6/ Global figures on Central Government debt (45 days delayed) are included on quarterly data on Central Givernment Operations. Data on guaranteed debt is available, upon request, from the Jefe del Sector Inversiones y Crédito Público (Chief of Investment and Public Credit Sector) of the Budget Directorate (e-mail: cbg@dipres.cl). No original maturity breakdown is disseminated, as at present there is not shot-term outstanding debt (according to the original maturity). Nevertheless, a breakdown by residual maturity is included.

· 7/ Data for the previous period correspond always to the whole month (or at the end). 

· 8/ The credit to non financial public enterprises is included in other assets, but this is not a very significant amount.

· 9/ Government securities are not issued at present.

· 10/ Data are the same from the date indicated until now. Changes are announced through internet and press releases when they are produced.

· 11/ Annual interest rates (360-day base for PDBC and 365-day base for the others bonds). BCU bonds are indexed to inflation and BCD bonds are indexed to market exchange rate. Rates showed don't include indexation.

· 12 Auctions on PDBC are performed be-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Auctions on BCP, BCU and BCD bonds are scheduled monthly.

· 13/ Annual interest rates (360-day base).

· 14/ Population projections are based on 2002 census.
