Paper: White.
Watermark: Located to the left on the front and to the right on the back, no printing over it, the watermark consists of a portrait of Manuel Rodr íguez Erdoyza facing the center of the banknote.
Security Strip: Vertical and located to the left of the main motif on the front of the banknote and spanning the entire length of the bank note. Microprinting that repeats the title "BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE" runs along its entire length. The micro printing also includes the words "DOS MIL " (two thousand).
Coinciding Motif: Slotted hexagons on both sides of the banknote, with a torch that needs to be looked at against the light for the image to be seen in its entirety. This image is located to the left of the central guilloche on the front of the banknote, and on the upper part of the image of the Iglesia de los Dominicos (church) on the back.
Colors:

Several shades of blue, violet, crimson, ochre and orange.

Printing Process: Offset, Intaglio and Typography.
Tactile marks for the visually impaired: Located on the front on the left-hand side of the non-printed strip of the watermark. It is made up of a rhombus with a perimeter that is thick and bulky enough to be detected upon touching.
Latent image: Located on the front of the banknote in the top right-hand corner under the number "2000". Made up of a guilloche with the letters B and C, seen as light or dark print, depending on the viewing angle of the onlooker.
Obverse:

The main motif is a portrait of Manuel Rodríguez Erdoyza located on the right-hand side. In the middle and partially covered by the portrait is part of the monument dedicated to Manuel Rodríguez Erdoyza by Chilean sculptor Blanca Merino Lizana.The title "BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE" is printed on one line starting at the left at the top border. Underneath, the matching image from both sides of the bill appears. The number "2000" appears in the bottom left-hand corner while "DOS MIL" (two thousand) appears below on the right. Immediately below this, micro printing repeats the words "BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE".The number "2000" appears on the lower right-hand side over the latent image. The words "PRESIDENTE" (President) and "GERENTE GENERAL" (General Manager) are printed on the bottom, from left to right. These titles carry the respective signatures and the date of printing above them.The serial letters followed by seven digits are printed on the top left-hand corner. This serial is duplicated in smaller print to the right of the portrait. The name "MANUEL RODRÍGUEZ E." appears towards the bottom right-hand corner. The number that corresponds to the location of the banknote in the sheet of paper appears to the left, underneath the coinciding motif and to the right underneath the serial and digits. Toward the foot of the banknote and to the center the bank note sometimes carries the imprint "CASA DE MONEDA DE CHILE". Otherwise it remains blank.The front includes guilloches, ornaments, multiform backgrounds and other security elements.

Reverse:

The main motif is a copy of an engraving of the Iglesia de los Dominicos (church).The title "BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE" is printed on two lines on the upper left border, while the value "DOS MIL" (two thousand) appears below. The number "2000" appears on the bottom left and top right-hand corners. An image of a circular seal showing part of the image of the BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE logo, notwithstanding Acuerdo N° 314-02-931014, appears on the lower right of the bank note.The back includes guilloches, ornaments, multiform backgrounds and other security elements.
