ENRIQUE MARSHALL R. has been appointed to the Board Member of the Central Bank as from December 2005.
Mr. Marshall graduated in business studies from the University of Chile and has both Master and Doctor degrees in Economics from Notre Dame University, United States.
Until his appointment to the Board he was General Manager of the Central Bank and previously from March 2000 to August 2005 he was Superintendent of Banks and Financial Institutions.
In 1994, he became Manager of International Affairs at the O’Higgins Bank and, on its merger with Santiago Bank, he continued in the same position until February 2000.
Mr. Marshall had previously been Intendent of the Superintendency of Banks and Financial Institutions from 1990 to 1991 and he was General Manager of the Central Bank from 1991 to 1994.
He was one of the founders of the Chilean Pacific Foundation of which he is currently member of the Board of Directors.
